I found the answer by accident. Hopefully this helps other people:

1: Click the plasma icon at the far right of the panel in question. (This will pop up a plasma menu for that panel.

2: With the menu open, hover over the plasmoid you want to move. A 4-pointed arrow will appear. Click and drag to move the plasmoid to a new position.

You can also use the colored triangles to resize the panel and the part of the menu closest to the center of the screen to resize the panel's height.

Hope this helps.Charliehttp://www.charliecoutts.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17454220.post-14447086755631302892008-09-06T11:58:00.000-05:002008-09-06T11:58:00.000-05:00Has anyone yet found a way to fix the image distor...Has anyone yet found a way to fix the image distortion in the wallpaper slideshow? There was a "cropped and maximized" option in KDE 3.5.9 which worked perfectly with my (sometimes oddly sized) images.tarahmariehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/08862399320087170352noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17454220.post-49788365915706617252008-06-14T07:29:00.000-05:002008-06-14T07:29:00.000-05:00is there any option to remove all widgets?is there any option to remove all widgets?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17454220.post-20870240692042694702008-05-05T03:10:00.000-05:002008-05-05T03:10:00.000-05:00You can pick the icon that you want from the Add w...You can pick the icon that you want from the Add widgets window and drop in the space of the panel that you want.

BYe...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17454220.post-26686640388445629142008-03-27T10:24:00.000-05:002008-03-27T10:24:00.000-05:00to the other commenters (old post or not, it still...to the other commenters (old post or not, it still managed to pop up second on google for what I was searching for):

I didn't realize it until I read this post, but you need to drag & drop instead of clicking add to panel and you can put it wherever you want.
