Linux users for a long time have been kept out of ABC Television's streaming media. Today I checked, and this artificial limitation is no more! Thank you ABC for listening to your viewers; Netflix are you paying attention?
Yes, you still are required to use Adobe Flash (GNU Gnash may work, can anyone provide feedback?), but at last we can watch our shows like users of other desktops. Linux is now listed in the System Requirements:
"What are the system requirements?
# Adobe Flash Player 10.0.0 or later
# Internet Explorer 6.0 or later, Firefox 2.0 or later, Safari 3 (Mac only) or later, Chrome 3.0 or later (Adobe Flash playback only)
# Microsoft Windows XP or later, Mac OS X 10.4 or later, Linux (Adobe Flash playback only)
"

thanks for the heads up!
Why only Linus user ? I hope it will be available in other OS environment. I watch ABC TV in my Satellite TV .
Nope. Maybe for a minute in '10 this was true but in '12 with Firefox, Debian and flash 11 watching videos at abc is fail on GNU/Linux.
@anonymous:
2012 April, I was able to watch shows on ABC today just fine, such as this full episode of Castle:
http://abc.go.com/watch/castle/SH559040/VD55185517/47-seconds
Note, I did have to disable Adblock Plus in my Firefox in order to play the ads, which apparently are needed in order to also play the show itself. Ah, commercial television.
